In line with its strategy of specialisation and expansion, the Fundación ECOTIC Board of Trustees promoted the creation of a new entity: Fundación ECOTIC Clima, which was officially authorised on 15 March 2024 after completing procedures begun in 2022. This new foundation focuses on managing WEEE in both domestic and professional air-conditioning categories.
In its first authorised financial year, Fundación ECOTIC Clima closed with a profit of €4,797. Of total expenditure, 67.1% went directly to waste management (transport, collection, treatment and related services), while structural costs represented 19.3% and communication costs 12.9%.
