In this milestone year for ECOTIC, as we celebrate our 20th anniversary, it is natural to reflect on the journey so far and look to the future with renewed energy. Two decades of work have established us as a leading force in the management of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), making a strong contribution to the circular economy and to protecting the environment.

Since our foundation in 2005, ECOTIC has championed a management model based on shared responsibility, close collaboration with all sector stakeholders and the promotion of initiatives that raise awareness and support sustainability. This approach has enabled us to adapt to an ever-evolving regulatory environment and remain a trusted benchmark for the producers who rely on our work. Over these 20 years, we have worked to enhance the efficiency of our operations and broadens our reach. The launch of the ECOTIC Entidad Administradora, together with the creation of Fundación ECOTIC Clima and ECOTIC Envases, underscores our commitment to a comprehensive management model that enables us to tackle environmental challenges with innovative, effective solutions.

Beyond progress in management, I would like to underline the vital role of awareness-raising and environmental education. Our commitment to public engagement has taken shape through numerous campaigns and initiatives encouraging responsible consumption and recycling habits. Collaboration with public authorities, educational institutions and the business sector has been key to amplifying the impact of these actions.

This anniversary is also an opportunity to recognise the contribution of all the people and organisations that have been part of our story. I would like to express my deep gratitude to our team and trustees, to our affiliated producers, to waste managers, distributors and installers, and to all the organisations with which we have worked. Their commitment and effort have been essential to reach this point and to keep advancing our mission.

We face the future with determination, fully aware that environmental challenges will continue to demand innovative responses and firm commitment from everyone.
